This manuscript presents an updated version of a previous OpenFOAM solver on surface water-groundwater interactions (SW-GW). The authors described the details on what have been updated/changed/added and showed a test case. I read the manuscript with interest and found it might be a good contribution to the modeling community. I have the following comments/questions:1
