Short summary
Weather over Southeast Asia is shaped by complex interactions between the air, ocean, and waves. We developed a high-resolution model that links these processes to better understand and predict rainfall patterns in the region. The results show that ocean–atmosphere interactions improve the representation and prediction of squall events that affect daily life in Singapore and surrounding regions. This work supports more accurate weather forecasting in the region.
