Thanks for submitting a revised version of your manuscript addressing reviewers comments.
The opinion from both reviewers was very different, with reviewer 1 criticizing the lack of novel concepts or advances, and reviewer 2 finding the tool as a useful contribution that may increase the use of flux data for land surface modeling.

The main goal of GMD is to provide a platform for the description of models and tools in a rigorous format that encourages reproducibility and at the same time gives authors proper credit for this work. GMD gives less weight to novelty or originality as other journals do, and puts more emphasis on proper description of models and tools. Under these considerations, I accept the revised version of the manuscript for publication in its current form.
