This directory contains information related to the land cover data sets.

The file Merging_KK10_to_HYDE.pdf explains how the merge of the KK10 data to the HYDE data in the 19th Century was done (in order to have a smooth transition to modern values). 

The data-set from 850 to 1850, and a mereged dataset from 800 to 2000, are available here:
