This file contains information picked from the HIRLAM analysis
feedback files valid each day at 06UTC. Data for 27 lakes (Table A2),
identified by coordinates, follow each other in a single file. The
file contains 5 columns, with date, coordinates, observed, analysed
and forecast value:

These data contain the nearest gridpoint values picked from FMI
operational HIRLAM grib files. Variable units and other information
can be found in Table A1 of the article. Data for each lake is in its
own file.

The file naming is in the directory hiran is tsXXXXX_an, where XXXXX
is the number of the station as indicated in Table A2.

One line of the file contains the following data: date in the form
YYYYMMDDHH every six hours followed by the following parameters, 15 in
total.

Dates with missing data are not included in anfeedback.dat files,
i.e. there are gaps. In the ts...an files missing data are indicated
by -99999.

dates_by_station.dat

This file contains the freeze-up and break-up dates observed and
estimated from HIRLAM output. Detailed explanation is in the heading
of the file.
